Ben’s Art UG is a very special company. It was founded as a subsidiary of the non-profit Branewo gUG, which cares for the rare disease “Alström Syndrome”. As a subsidiary, to ensure that all profits go to the non-profit organization and thus support research and work on Alström Syndrome.
But Ben’s Art is also a special start-up in terms of content. We want to encourage and encourage changes in perspective. Ben is an 11-year-old boy who suffers from the above-mentioned illness. He is blind, almost deaf and has a number of other challenges. And he is happy. Gladly. Plays piano. Learn judo. Skies.
With his courage to face life, he shows us that you can do what is important to you, regardless of your own circumstances.
His images and the motifs of the images form the basis for Ben’s Art. Whether originals, art prints, accessories or NFTs – we try to “multiply” Ben’s spirit through many products. There's even a 3D platform developed based on Ben's perspectives.
We are at the beginning, but on a basis developed over the last two years.
We now want to scale this and are looking for a managing director / CEO who is confident enough to take some risk and develop a project that has probably never existed in this form before.
Where we are right now:
- We run two online shops, and at times also sell NFTs.
- Our pictures hang in exciting places in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- We cooperate with European partners within the framework of projects.
- We are involved in a platform for perspective changers that is about to be launched.
- We are having discussions about a wide range of collaborations or exhibition formats.
- We have a website (www.bens-art.de) and operate an Instagram and Facebook account.
The main tasks include:
- Management of Ben’s Art
- Development of sales and marketing
- Customer acquisition & sales
- Cooperation and license acquisition
But what we are looking for: desire to build something that can have real “social impact”. Patience to create this structure. Willingness to invest in order to be rewarded in more than just monetary terms.
What framework do we imagine:
- Maximum 2 days per week effort
- Remote desired
- Participation in the company
- Commission share on all sales proceeds
